Privacy Policy

This site is run by Kathy Littleton for School Board, a campaign committee for the Berkeley County School Board, District 4 race. This page explains what we collect through the website, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We only collect information you type into a form and submit yourself. That can include your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and whether you asked for a yard sign or checked the box to volunteer. Nothing on this site asks for a Social Security number, a driver’s license number, or payment information.
Our forms are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which delivers submissions to the campaign by email. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To reach you about the campaign — volunteer shifts, events, yard signs, and reminders before Election Day.
- To answer a question or a request you sent us.
- To meet any reporting obligation required by South Carolina law.
What we don’t do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with other campaigns, committees, or commercial mailing list vendors. The only people who see it are the candidate and the small group of volunteers and vendors working directly on this campaign, and they use it only for the purposes above.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and performance. If we add analytics later, this page will be updated to say so.
Links to other sites
We link to outside sites — the South Carolina Election Commission at scvotes.gov, Google Maps for directions, and social media. Once you follow one of those links, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
Children
This site is intended for adults of voting age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Getting off the list
Ask us and we will take you off. Email kathy@PLACEHOLDER.com and we will remove your information from our campaign lists. You can also ask us what we have on file for you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
