Meet Kathy Littleton

She has spent her whole career showing up for other people’s kids.

Kathy Littleton served in the United States Navy. She spent her working life as a social worker and a special education professional — sitting across the table from families on their hardest days, and working with the students who need an adult in their corner the most.

That is what she brought with her to the Berkeley County School Board, and it is the lens she brings to every vote: what does this actually do for the child in the classroom?

Test scores in Berkeley County have gone up. Kathy is the first to say that happened because teachers, students, and parents did the work. Her job is to keep giving them the resources and the backup to finish it.

Where & When to Vote

Vote Tuesday, November 3.

Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. If standing in line that day doesn’t work for you, Berkeley County has almost two full weeks of early voting first.

Register by Sunday, October 4 Mailed applications postmarked Monday, October 5 are still accepted. Register or check your registration at scvotes.gov.
Early voting Oct. 19 – Oct. 31 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. at any early voting center in Berkeley County. Centers are closed Sunday, October 25.
Absentee by mail Friday, October 23 Applications due 5:00 p.m. Completed ballots must reach the county office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Election Day Tuesday, November 3 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. On Election Day you must vote at your own assigned precinct.

District 4 runs from Tramway and Carnes Crossroads at the top, down through Sangaree and Royle, to Stratford, Discovery, and College Park toward Ladson and Goose Creek.
